Katie graduated from The New School with a Bachelor’s in Global Studies, and minors in Dance and Philosophy. Originally from Arizona, she has spent the last five years in NYC. Katie has been involved in community organizing and social justice-centered work, with a particular focus on immigration and education and feels right at home at SBU.
