South Bronx United is the #POWEROF11! Watch the #POWEROF11 video. On Saturday, May 20th, South Bronx United held its 7th Annual Literacy Day. Families, students, coaches and volunteers of all ages came together on three soccer fields in the South Bronx for a day focused on reading and literacy. Over 600 youth from SBU’s Recreational Program had the opportunity to participate in reading groups and take home free books. Read more on the SBUnited! Blog.

SBU Coach and Alumnus Delmy Del Cid was honored at the Up2Us Sports Gala on May 15th as their Coach of the Year. Delmy serves as a coach and mentor for the SBU Soaring Stars, Girls U14 team. The SBU Rising Stars Girls U19 team traveled to the Washington, D.C. area for three days on March 23rd to complete in a soccer tournament, tour George Mason University, see the sights of the nation's capital, and bond as a team.
