The SBU Supporters Club is South Bronx United's fan club and community group. The club supports the South Bronx United through fundraising, by various events--including the SBU Charity Cup, a FIFA Xbox tournament, and various watch parties-- and by building awareness of the organization's mission and impact. All proceeds raised goes to help fund the organization's programming. The SBU Supporters Club Board manages the club and is made up of NYC professionals passionate about the organization's mission and eager to engage in a leadership role to support South Bronx youth.

A. T. Kearney
Roshni joined South Bronx United in 2016 after moving to New York City. She is currently a Business Analyst at A.T. Kearney, a global management consulting firm, and earned her B.A. from the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania. In her free time, Roshni enjoys traveling and playing soccer with her friends in recreational leagues in the city. Having seen the benefits of playing soccer herself, Roshni is excited to support SBU’s mission.
Brightstar Capital Partners Vice President
Ronak joined the SBU Junior Board in 2015 and serves as co-chair of the membership committee. He is currently a vice president at Brightstar Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on closely-held middle market companies, and holds a Bachelor of Science from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. In his free time, Ronak is an avid traveler, and after growing up playing soccer in the suburbs of New York, he can still be found trying to relive the glory days playing in soccer leagues throughout the city.
Senior Coordinator, Major League Soccer
Joining Major League Soccer June 2015, Amanda Flynn is a Senior Coordinator in the Operations department, taking the lead on Stadium Operations for MLS marquee events, including the MLS All-Star Game, MLS Cup and MLS Player Combine. Additionally, Amanda is an Account Manager for eight MLS Clubs, manages the Event Observer program and leads the policy updating of the MLS Operations Manual. Amanda attended undergrad at the University of South Carolina and holds a Master’s degree in Sports Business from New York University. You can often find Amanda showing strangers pictures of her pitbull, Calvin.”
Eko, Accounting and Finance Manager
Michael has tutored in the Sophomores Skills, SAT Prep, and College Prep programs at South Bronx United since the fall of 2014. He joined the Supporters Club board in 2015 and is now a co-chair of the Events Committee. He is the accounting and finance manager at Eko, a media and technology company specializing in interactive video. Michael graduated from Boston College in 2009, and in his free time you can find him gasping for air on the intramural soccer fields or screaming at Liverpool FC on TV.
Associate Analyst, NERA Economic Consulting
Duncan started with SBU as a Summer Scholars intern during the summer of 2013, at which point he had just completed his sophomore year at the University of Rochester. He maintained a relationship with SBU for the remainder of his college years, attending events in NYC and playing in SBU soccer tournaments whenever he was in the area. After graduation, Duncan moved to NYC to work full-time at NERA Economic Consulting. Now that he’s living in the city, he’s excited to contribute to SBU’s mission through coaching rec soccer on weekends and being a part of the SBU Supporters Club Board.
Jonathan joined the SBU Supporters Club Board in 2017. He currently is an Analyst at Bregal Partners, a middle-market private equity firm investing across Consumer, Food and Retail, Healthcare, and Energy Services sectors. Jonathan graduated from Northwestern University where he received a B.A. in Economics. In his free time, Jonathan can be found be playing pick-up soccer in the East Village, supporting Jeremy Lin/Brooklyn Nets, or reading a book at various coffee shops across the city.
Etienne joined the SBU Supporters Club Board in 2017 and is a member of the events committee. He is currently an Assistant Vice President at Barclays, working in the equity derivatives trading division since July 2013. Etienne earned dual degrees at the University of Michigan, completing both Mechanical Engeering and Industrial and Operations Engineering degrees while being a member of the Michigan Men's Varsity Soccer team for his junior and senior years.
Senior Strategy Analyst, Major League Soccer
Aaron began volunteering with South Bronx United in 2014 as a U8 coach and is now a SBU Supporters Club Board Member. In 2012, he graduated from Fordham University where he was a four year division I soccer athlete. Aaron currently works in the digital media and entertainment world as a Senior Yield Analyst at CBS Interactive.
Account Director, Avrett Free Ginsberg
Russ has been involved with SBU since it's second year, coaching U13 and U16 rec teams, and mentoring SBU Academy youth through our College Prep Program. When not helping the Supporters Club, he works in Account Services for advertising agency AFG, driving cross-channel strategy and execution on behalf of Nestle. Russ graduated from Fordham University in 2007, and in his spare time can be seen playing in soccer leagues around the city.
Associate, PJT Partners
Sushaan began volunteering with SBU in the Fall of 2014 after moving to New York City. He has and continues to coach a U-10 boys rec teams and has also been involved in SBU as a tutor. He is currently an Associate in the Strategic Advisory group at PJT Partners (formerly Blackstone Advisory Partners) where he primarily works in Technology, Media and Telecom and Sports. Sushaan was a member of the Huntsman Program in International Studies and Business at the University of Pennsylvania where he received a B.A. from the College of Arts and Sciences and a B.S. from the Wharton School.
Jamie joined the SBU Supporters Club Board in 2017. He found SBU through a teammate of his at Manhattan Celtic FC, where he plays on the right wing and is a club director. In 2015, Jamie graduated from Boston University with a M.Ed in Coaching and Sport Psychology. Jamie currently works as a chemistry and life science researcher for USMA in West Point, NY.

Jacinto joined the SBU Supporters Club Board in 2017. He is currently a Director of Engineering at Group Nine Media, where he works in Technology and Digital Media. Jacinto received his undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering from Cleveland State University.
Associate, Sterling Investment Partners
David joined the SBU Supporters Club Board in 2016 and serves as Secretary. He is currently an Associate at Sterling Investment Partners, a middle-market private equity firm, and is involved in all aspects of the firm’s investment activities. David earned his B.S. from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business. He is a strong believer in the unifying power of soccer and enjoys playing the beautiful game with his friends every Saturday morning in Manhattan.
Kevin began volunteering with South Bronx United in the Fall 2014 as a coach in the U-10 boys rec program and joined the Supporters Club Board shortly thereafter. He is currently the eCommerce Manager at KIND Snacks. Kevin earned his B.S. from Elon University.
Citi Cards, Vice President
Ndeh joined SBU in early 2017. He has a passion for using team sports to teach youth the virtues of education, hard work and resilience. He presently works for Citi Cards and coaches the Asphalt Green U-13 boys travel soccer team. Ndeh got his MBA from Fordham's Gabelli School of Business (Finance and Strategy) and undergraduate degree from The University of Scranton where he played on the men's soccer team.
George is currently an Advertising Operations Associate at IAC's Dotdash. Prior to this, he worked at The New York Times as a Campaign Manager and he was volunteering as the "Business partner" with Pencil Org. During his time volunteering with Pencil he was able to spearhead many educational events for public school students such as having the P.S. 111 8th graders create a newspaper of their own with the help and supervision of New York Times staff. He moved to New York ten years ago and graduated from Queens College with an Economics degree. During his free time, he loves to play soccer, travel and participate in other volunteering activities.
