On July 6, 2026, Jovani Lorenzo-Cruz joined South Bronx United as Executive Assistant and Special Projects Coordinator. As a proud South Bronx United alumnus, Jovani returned to the organization with a passion for giving back to the community that helped shape his own journey. His work focuses on supporting organizational initiatives, coordinating special projects, and helping expand opportunities for the young people and families SBU serves.
Jovani graduated from the College of the Holy Cross with a bachelor's degree and a double major in Sociology and Spanish. During his undergraduate career, he studied abroad in Argentina and England and was inducted into Tri-Alpha.
