Saturday soccer program at three locations, for all ages and experience levels. Separate girls divisions starting at age 6. Optional weekday training sessions.
Recreational Soccer (ages 4-15)

Introductory sessions focus on introducing children to soccer making sure they have fun! Children learn the game while building hand-eye-foot coordination and listening skills. Children with and without experience are welcome to join. Held indoors at the SBU Clubhouse.
Clubhouse Tots Classes - Indoor (Ages 2 - 4)
2-3 Year Olds, 3-4 Year Olds
Sign up your child for as many individual weekend classes as you want. 45-60 minutes.
Indoor training clinics are meant to supplement existing SBU programs and help children develop soccer skills in tight spaces. Participants work closely with SBU coaches. Intermediate skill level or higher is recommended. Sessions are held indoors in the SBU Clubhouse.
Clubhouse Soccer Classes and 3v3 League - Indoor (Ages 5-15)
2026-2027 ages: Children born 2010-2022 (U6 - U15)
Sign up your child for as many individual weekend skill-building classes as you want. 1 hour classes.
Half-day soccer camp at Macombs Dam Park for children entering grades 1-6. Operates for six weeks in July and August with half day and full day options.
Summer Soccer Camp (ages 5-11)
Summer 2026 ages: Girls & Boys Born 2015 - 2020
Registration for Summer 2027 will open next year.
Sunday Indoor League at the SBU Clubhouse. Players will be placed on teams and receive a team shirt. Games are 3v3 and standings are kept.
Indoor 3v3 League (U12 & U15)
3v3 Indoor Coed League on Sundays. Register for four separate seasons: Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter
For U12 and U15 boys and girls
Saturday soccer league for high school youth, including ability to register individually and as a school. Separate boys and girls divisions. Access to immigration screenings and social work supports, and, beginning Fall 2021, college access sessions.
Global Youth League (ages 15-18)

Girls participate in a weekly leadership workshop and 3v3 league play at the SBU Clubhouse! Supported by the FC Barcelona Foundation!
Girls Soccer Leadership Program
FREE program for Middle School Girls supported by the FC Barcelona Foundation. Join individually or with a school team of 3 or more girls. Fall 2026 registration opens soon!
Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm
Competitive travel soccer teams for student-athletes in grades 3-5. Twice weekly training sessions, weekend games, and educational workshops for families.
SBU Pre-Academy (ages 8-11)
2026-2027 ages: Girls & Boys Born 2016-2019
Competitive travel soccer teams for youth in grades 6-12, plus mandatory twice weekly academic and college prep sessions, mentoring, leadership development, 5-week summer program, and access to immigration legal services and other youth supports. Alumni programs continue through college.
SBU Academy (ages 11-19)
2026-2027 Year ages: Girls & Boys Born 2008 - 2015 (Grades 6 - 12)
The program is open to youth ages 16-24 with preference to those are part of or are alumni of SBU programs. Participants must be able to attend the weekly career readiness workshops and generally work part time 5-20 hours per week.
Workforce Development Program
A six-month career readiness program for youth ages 16-24 who are looking to gain job experience. Participants are employed part-time at SBU while working either at the Clubhouse Cafe, as a Soccer Coach/Mentor, or as an Education Fellow. Typically, fellows work 5-12 hours per week. Throughout the program, participants develop career readiness skills and gain employment tools through the bi-weekly career readiness training workshops. This program is most ideal for those who are looking for a first job experience or are beginning to enter the workforce. Cohorts run January-June and July-December

Immigration relief eligibility screenings are available to youth and family members who participate in SBU programs only. SBU is recognized by the Office of Legal Access Programs at the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) to provide immigration legal services. Workshops, Clinics, and Forums are open to all members of the broader community.
Immigration Legal Services
South Bronx United is recognized by the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Legal Access Programs to provide immigration legal services through an accredited representative. Eligibility screenings are available to youth and family members enrolled in SBU programs, with a focus on supporting young people applying for Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS). Additional services include assistance with DACA renewals, naturalization, legal permanent resident applications, and certain visa requests.
SBU also offers community-wide workshops, clinics, and forums. We are a proud member of the New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC) and the Bronx Immigration Partnership (BIP).
Upcoming Soccer Clinics
ID Clinics are open to any youth in the community. For 2026-2027 year, youth must be born between 2008 and 2018 (U8 - U19) to be eligible for a clinic.
Youth interested in the SBU Academy or SBU Pre-Academy must register and attend an Open ID Clinic, but other children and teens are welcome to attend too. Clinics are generally held four times per year: February/April, June, August, and December. Clinics are usually held at either Macombs Dam Park or Mullaly Park.

South Bronx United will honor Quincy Evans of Davidson Kempner Capital Management, a Bronx native and SBU board member, and Elias Santa Cruz an outstanding SBU Academy Alumnus, AmeriCorps Coach-Mentor, and member of the Baruch College Class of 2027. The program will also include live music, an annual update from our Executive Director, special guests, a silent auction, raffle, and more! Guests must be 21 or older
