Join SBU’s Annual Health & Wellness Day: Saturday, September 11

South Bronx United returns with its 8th Annual Health & Wellness Day at Macombs Dam Park to kick off the Fall 2021 Season. Children and families from the community are invited to attend.

The health fair and “Soccer Olympics” activities will run from 9 am - 1 pm at the Macombs Dam Park Joseph Yancey Track & Field. Kids can complete a round of soccer and track events and visit information and activity tables from partner organizations to fill up stickers on an SBU bingo card. Collect every sticker for a prize. Events include the Sol7sports Elite Skills Challenge, the TeqBall challenge, soccer bowling, obstacle course, long jump, track run, and more.

Attending partner organizations include the Bronx Children’s Museum, Harlem Grown, Sauti Yetu, Vermenton Pediatrics, Montefiore Hospital, NYC Center for Health Equity, Bronx Public Health Office, BronxWorks, and more.

Registered youth in the South Bronx United Recreational Soccer Program at Macombs Dam Park will meet their coaches and receive their uniforms that day. Participants at Mullaly Park and Patterson Park sites are invited to stop by the fair before or after their respective opening day sessions.
