Pedro Rubiano

Born in Colombia and having grown up in Florida, Pedro recently eclipsed ten years living in New York City as a proud resident of Jackson Heights. Pedro joined South Bronx United in the fall of 2025 and earned his Bachelors in Politics from NYU as well as a Masters in Education Policy from Teachers College, Columbia University. Prior to joining SBU, Pedro has had experience working in academic intervention programming, politics, and spent some time in the corporate space. Pedro is deeply passionate about the pursuit of educational equity and the power a sound education can have on people of all backgrounds. Outside of work, Pedro enjoys playing soccer, tennis, and hanging out with his dog, One.
